2. Work Allotment :
  a. To acknowledge receipt of letter received from members of parliament (including M.Ps of other states as well) and to dispatch these to departments/officer concerned after obtaining orders of competent authority and monitoring there of.
  b. Arrangement of required admissible facilities to M.Ps for execution of official works.
  c. To acknowledge receipt of letters received from National level officials of all political parties, and to dispatch these to departments/offices concerned after obtaining orders of competent authority and monitoring there of.
  d. Works as referred to officer-in-charge of M.P. cell by Principal Secretary/Secretary/Special Secretary.
  e. Replies to letters of former Prime Minister of country and former Chief Ministers of State shall be sent by the M.P. Cell in the same manner as are sent in respect of letters of members of parliament.
  f. To acknowledge receipt of letters received from members of Legislative Assembly (including M.L.A's of other states) and to dispatch these to department/offices concerned after obtaining orders of competent authority and monitoring there of.
  g. Dispatch of letters to be sent in respect of letters of legislators by the officers of Chief Minister secretariat.
  h. To acknowledge receipt of letters received from State Level Presidents/Vice Presidents/General Secretaries of all political parties and to dispatch these to department/office concerned with the orders of competent authority and to monitor them.
   
3. Maintenance / Preservation:
  A register (on computer) is maintained for dispatched letters of members of  parliament / members of legislative Assembly.
   
4.

Work Procedure-

  a.

Order letters of Member of Parliament / legislators are sent to concerned departments/offices after entering them in the computer and reminders are sent from time to time.

  b. Per month acknowledgement of letters of legislators /National level/State level President/Vice Presidents/ General Secretaries of  political parties entered in the computer. Acknowledgement of letters entered in computers of Hon’ble Member of Parliament is also sent.
  c.

On scrutiny of letters of Hon’ble/legislators/National/State level President/Vice president/General Secretaries of political parties received through mail or other sections, the same are sent to department wise allotted principal Secretaries/Secretaries to Chief Minister for orders.

  d. Order to delete pending references are obtained after examining the reports received from department/officer in respect of orders issued on letters of Hon’ble M.P's/Legislators.

  c. U.P. State Employees Conduct Rules.
  d. Other order/rules issued from time to time and in force.
6. Budget :
 

No budget is allotted at the level of M.P. and M.L.A. Cell and no budget related work is done.

   
7.

Assistance/Welfare Progamme and details of persons benefited-

  Problems of people of state and country which brought to the knowledge of Hon'ble chief Minister through mediums mentioned at para-2, are brought to the knowledge of concerned departments/institutions and efforts are made to provide a legal solution for them.
