Subjects dealt with in Chief Minister’s Office Section-2

1.	All postal mail, registered letters, telegrams etc. addressed to the Hon. Chief minister.
2.	State-level office bearers of all political parties except the state-level President/Vice President/General Secretary of political parties (that include office bearers of different cells of political parties), former legislators, editors and bureau chiefs of major newspapers.
3.	Letters from eminent personalities and senior officials of the State Government.
4.	To acknowledge receipt of letters sent by the Registrar of Hon. Supreme Court/ High Court and Universities, and to dispatch these with the orders of the competent authority to the department/office concerned and to maintain these.
5.	To distribute the programme of the Hon. Chief Minister’s tours.
6.	Dispatch of all messages, greetings letters, suggestion letters, telegrams etc. sent on behalf of the Hon. Chief Minister.
7.	Dispatch of the letters sent on behalf of the Personal Secretary of the Hon. Chief Minister.
8.	To acknowledge receipt of letters received from former ministers of the state and to dispatch these with the orders of the competent authority to the department/office concerned and to maintain these.
9.	Dispatch of letters received from officials of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
